Become a Better Teacher. Boost Your Career.

As an elementary school teacher, you have the ability to instill a love for school and set the bar for learning. While you can teach grades K-6 with a bachelor’s degree and state licensure or certification, a master’s degree in elementary education can open more doors and lead to greater financial benefits.

Nova Southeastern University’s M.S. in Elementary Education dives deeper into theories and advanced techniques. You’ll learn how to design better lesson plans, manage your classroom more effectively, and address the unique needs of individual students in the areas of language and literacy, mathematics, science, and the arts. A master's in elementary education prepares you to excel in an elementary school setting, but also empowers you to explore careers outside of the classroom as a curriculum developer, education writer and editor, instructional design specialist, and more.
